Better treatment ahead

British patients can look forward to getting better doctors. Proper service and better treatment is going to be at the top of the agenda in the future. At least if the Association gets its way for the new agreement with the doctors.
In the future, a person will have the option to terminate cooperation with doctors who do not meet the new requirements, a government source writes. If a practitioner is not doing its job properly, refuse to allow themselves to be judged by the local people or will not educate themselves, the local authoritys could stop cooperation with the doctor.
The practitioners must also be included in studies designed to show whether patients are satisfied with the treatment. Patients should also in future have easier access to their own records.
As part of the new patient-oriented line to doctors, according to County Association's position paper also abandon what training they have taken, as well as the professional companies, they are active in. Today, citizens can only see the doctor's name, age and gender, when choosing new practitioner.
The requirements from the local counties meetings so far no great understanding with the doctors.
